I go to a California public school. My history teacher decided to show a documentary on 9/11 to our class. The documentary was made by the National Geographic and was directly referenced to the 9/11 Commission Report. I found this outrages. I wanted to yell out and say “show me the evidence” but I held in my outrage, this was quite difficult. I wanted to address my teacher and say that we are the future generations, and showing this to them will lead them in the wrong direction. But I am afraid that this would hurt my grade in the class.

Is there anything I can do? Or should I just let this go?

You should dissent against the disinformation and spread the truth. Asking questions and demanding answers has nothing to do with your grade: your grades reflect homework/quizzes/tests, NOT a teachers opinion regarding a historical event. Share with them the simple information of NYCCAN.org or AE911Truth.org and Dr. Jones finding thermite.
